OpenSDL

OpenSDL provides laboratory device runtime interfaces, a portable virtual-asset format, and the lab CLI for validating, building, splitting, distributing, caching, and materializing assets through a local daemon.

You can install and use lab independently. OpenSDL Hub provides a public catalog, versions, and previews, while an OCI registry distributes asset packages; the same package also works with other compatible registries. LiyanLabs connects to devices through Runner and queries Hub to select visual models in its simulation interface.

Start here

  1. Install lab CLI and confirm that your terminal can run lab.
  2. Follow the Hub Quick Start to find an asset, pull it into a local directory, validate it, and reuse it offline.
  3. Read OpenSDL Hub for asset versions, publication, and current runtime boundaries.

The same release provides local asset management and runtime instances for creating, starting, stopping, restarting, and reclaiming runnable packages.

The resource management roadmap lists implemented capabilities, release status, and subsequent milestones.
